Changing the Face of STEM by Exposing Youth to their Potential

Changing Faces Inc. joined Color in STEM LLC, several student and community organizations, and the FAMU SCALAR HBCU UP project to create culturally diverse classroom libraries in local Title Schools. Over 500 books were donated. We recognize that underrepresented students need to see themselves in the books they read. Dr. A. and Dr. Tay served as guest readers for the STEM literacy read aloud at Pineview Elementary.

Changing Faces Inc. partnered with PEO Chapter GR, Dr. La'Tara Lampkins, Founder of Eduprehd, Kayana Gaines, Realtor, the Florida State University Iota Delta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha, Color in STEM LLC, and several members of the Tallahassee community to provide school supplies to thirty six Pre-K through 5th grade and ESE classrooms at Bond Elementary School. School supplies were also donated to the 5th grade Science, Math, and Reading teachers at Pineview Elementary School. We hope that these supplies will serve as a reserve for teachers and kids throughout the academic year!
